Joseph Chen is the managing principal associate of Center Neurorestoration. He received his undergraduate education at the Johns Hopkins University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. His medical and graduate studies were completed at New York University where he obtained his MD and PhD. His residency training in neurosurgery was fulfilled at the University of Southern California.
He has a wide ranging practice with expertise in cranial microsurgery, trigeminal neuralgia, stereotactic radiosurgery, neuroendoscopy, pituitary surgery, spine and neurotrauma.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Past President of the California Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is an author of over 40 peer reviewed publications and has lectured both nationally and internationally on a diverse range of neurosurgical topics.
He is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery at USC Keck School of Medicine.
